Monteur, réalisateur et programmateur Brésilien vivant entre la France et le Brésil, je m'intéresse beaucoup aux documentaires de création, à la fiction et aux formes cinématographiques hybrides. En tant que réalisateur, mon premier court métrage Gare aux Coquins, produit par l'Université de Corse en partenariat avec Le G.R.E.C., a été sélectionné dans plusieurs festivals, dont le Festival International du Court Métrage de Clermont-Ferrand (2021), Bogoshorts (2021), Premiers Plans d'Angers (2021) et le Festival International du Film de Rhode Island (2022).
En tant que monteur, j'ai contribué à des films qui ont été sélectionnés dans des festivals prestigieux tels que La Semaine de la Critique, l’IDFA, Tampere FF, Hot Docs, Bogoshorts, Clermont-Ferrand ISFF, Interfilm Berlin, São Paulo ISFF - Kinoforum, Hofer Filmtage, Leeds ISFF et Aesthetica ISFF.
En tant que programmateur, je participe aux équipes de programmation des festivals Premiers Plans d’Angers et Silhouette, en France, et du Festival International du Court Métrage de São Paulo – Kinoforum, au Brésil. En 2023, j'ai été membre du jury du Prix du Meilleur Queermétrage au Festival de Clermont-Ferrand et du jury de l'appel à projets GREC-Rush organisé par Le G.R.E.C.
Actuellement, je développe mon premier documentaire de long métrage, Itajubara, qui a reçu la Bourse Brouillon d'un Rêve - Réperages de la SCAM et qui est produit par Don Quichotte Films.
Brazilian editor, director, and film programmer living between France and Brazil, I am deeply interested in creative documentaries, fictions, and hybrid cinematic forms. As a director, my first short film Naughty Spot, produced by the University of Corsica in partnership with Le G.R.E.C., has been selected in several festivals, including the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival (2021), Bogoshorts (2021), Premiers Plans d'Angers (2021), and the Rhode Island International Film Festival (2022).
As an editor, I have contributed to films that have been selected at prestigious festivals such as La Semaine de la Critique, IDFA, Tampere FF, Hot Docs, Bogoshorts, Clermont-Ferrand ISFF, Interfilm Berlin, São Paulo ISFF - Kinoforum, Hofer Filmtage, Leeds ISFF, and Aesthetica ISFF.
As a film programmer, I have been part of the programming teams for the Premiers Plans d’Angers and Silhouette festivals in France and the São Paulo International Short Film Festival – Kinoforum in Brazil. In 2023, I was a member of the jury for the Best Queer Short Film Award at the Clermont-Ferrand Festival and the jury for the GREC-Rush call for projects organized by G.R.E.C.
Currently, I am developing my first feature-length documentary, Itajubara, which received the SCAM's Brouillon d'un Rêve - Réperages grant and that is produced by Don Quichotte Films.
